FNQ Espanyol, en su segunda final consecutiva
El lunes, 26 de marzo en un barrio de Cairns, al norte de Australia, el equipo Alevín de la Penya Espanyolista “FNQ Espanyol” jugará la final de la liga local de fútbol sala.
El equipo de Akira, Cameron, Jack, Leathan, Ned y Yago quedaron segundos tras seis meses en su liga regular y pasaron a disputar los playoff.
En los cuartos de final los periquitos australianos tuvieron una actuación aplastante, ganando 8-1. Pero la semifinal fue algo diferente, ganando solo 1-0 en “un partido no apto para cardiacos” según el Presidente de la Peña y entrenador del equipo Ignacio Ortega.
La gran final se jugará este lunes a las 17:00 h en el Estadio de Redlynch (Redlynch Central Sports Stadium).

FNQ Espanyol (Australia) will play their second consecutive final
On Monday March 26, in a suburb of Cairns in Northern Australia the RCD Espanyol U9 team, part of the FNQ Espanyol Supporters Club, will play the final of the Redlynch Futsal league.
The team formed by Akira, Cameron, Jack, Leathan, Ned and Yago were runners up in the regular season and qualified for the play offs.
In the quarter finals the Australian parakeets dominated from start to finish with an outstanding display, ending 8-1 victors. The semi-final was completely different and “definitely not for the faint-hearted” according to Ignacio Ortega, FNQ Espanyol’s President and Team Coach. However, the only goal of the game belonged to the blue & white team and was enough to send them through to the final.
The final will be played at 5pm local time at the Redlynch Central Sports Stadium.
